M-800 Screen Capacity

Portrait Configuration

Screen Capacity 41" x 35" OD

This diagram shows that with a portrait (vertical) configuration, the M-800 can make screens as large as 41 inches wide by 35 inches tall. (This is the outside diameter of the screen.)

Landscape Configuration

Screen Capacity 26" x 46" OD

This diagram shows that with a landscape (horizontal) configuration, the M-800 can make screens as large as 26 inches wide by 46 inches tall. (This is the outside diameter of the screen.)

The orientation of the frame in the DataScreen will effect the run time. Since the heads only image with the side to side movement, the longer direction of the image should be in the same orientation. This is called the landscape configuration. The heads do not print as the machine "Steps" to the next part of the image. Therefore, it is preferred to reduce the number of "Steps" to gain quicker output speeds.

Imaging in the portrait configuration is mainly reserved for imaging two frames at a time or oversized frames. The floor-print of the machine can be reduced on oversized frames by extending the frames through the front and back of the machine. This way a smaller model could be utilized saving space.
