Affordability of the DataScreen™ starts with the specially formulated, high performance ink system. Coverage and opacity have been optimized while still controlling the ink droplet size and configuration. Mileage for one liter of ink is approximately 80 to 100 m² at 50% coverage depending on the print mode. Optimized efficiency and low cost consumable stream of the DataScreen™equals extremely fast return on investment.
The bulk feed ink system utilizes a water-based, light-impervious ink delivered through interchangeable containers installed at the print head. Easily refilled containers eliminate costly ink cartridges and lengthy ink tubes. This reduces the variable costs and enhances cost-effectiveness.
The ink pressure control unit ensures consistent flow, regardless of ink levels, to all print heads by maintaining a stable vacuum pressure. A secondary atmospheric monitoring system within the software alerts the operator of imperfect working conditions.
